As efforts from down town, under pressure, go this one from New York Knick JR Smith is pretty special.
Last night was a pretty sweet one for JR Smith. Before tip-off in Game 2 of the Knicks’ series with the Boston Celtics, Smith was awarded the ‘Sixth Man of the Year’ award and during the game he racked up 19 points as the New Yorkers won 87-71 to take full control of the series.
The undoubted highlight of the many top-notch baskets scored by Smith was this effort right at the end of the first quarter. He scored a two, managed to break up a Celtics play and then with a defender right in his face he launched up a buzzer beater from 35 feet to score another three.
The celebration isn’t too bad either.
