Vine: Northern Ireland player target of vicious kick to the head as violence breaks out in Milk Cup clash with Mexico
You don’t want to see this type of behaviour in football at any grade but especially not in the under-age ranks.

Northern Ireland’s win over Mexico in the under-19 Milk Cup Elite clash in Coleraine last night was marred by violence as four players were sent off as a result of ugly brawls that broke out towards the end of the game.

During one of the brawls, a Northern Ireland player lying on the ground was the target of what appeared to be a vicious kick to the head by a Mexican opponent and though it’s not clear whether or not contact was made, it could have resulted in serious injury and the referee sensibly decided to blow the final whistle after the second of two major melees was brought to a halt.

Shocking stuff.
