What do women want? Frankly, God doesn't even know. But we can tell you what they certainly don't want with the top ten things women hate about men.

Have you ever got the stink eye off a woman for no apparent reason? Well, maybe it was because you lugged a massive gollier on the floor. Or maybe she spotted your stylish white socks teamed with your polished black shoes.

A recent poll conducted by 98FM shows the top ten things women hate about men. According to the radio programme, the list of Irish ladies hates is a lot different to their American counterparts.

In the States, it’s a massive turn off for womenfolk if a man has a child whereas over here having a kid apparently gets you brownie points.

Take a look at the list of the top ten hates below and see if there is anything that you yourself might be guilty of. We’re just glad that weeing in public isn't on the list... yet.

1. Spitting
2. White socks with black shoes (sorry, MJ)
3. Long finger nails
4. Bad teeth
5. Being too cheap
6. Being too flash (make your minds up ladies)
7. Bad shoes
8. Bad breath
9. Men who don’t like pets (evidently, a lot of 'cat ladies' took part in the poll)
10. Bluetooth headsets (which is fair enough actually)
