Earlier in the week that he was under investigation by the police, and the latest is confirmation that Aaron Hernandez has been charged with murder.
After a warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this week, it looks like the police have acted and have arrested New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

Hernandez has not been cooperating with police in their investigations into a homicide, according to reports, and the original paper warrant issued was believed to be a bargaining chip to get his lawyers to come to the table and talk some sense in to him. However, Hernandez’s lawyer denied yesterday that there was ever a warrant issued, although that looks a little foolish in light of the above picture.
The charges are related to the murder of Odin Lloyd, whose body was found less a mile from Hernandez’s home after there was evidence to suggest that the pair had been seen together hours before the body was found.
UPDATE 4PM: The New England Patriots have also decided that they’ve had enough of being involved in this situation, and have released the tight end from their roster.
