Brought to you by Beyond the Pale
There's nothing quite like festival season. Chilling with your mates, sipping drinks in the summer sun and watching some epic live acts—it's hard to beat it!
As the weather slowly improves after a gloomy winter, the prep for everyone's favourite time of the year starts now.
Taking place from June 12th to 14th at the picturesque Glendalough Estate in Co. Wicklow, Beyond The Pale is returning for its fifth edition in 2026 under FUEL’s festival management.
Located only 30 minutes from Dublin, Beyond the Pale should definitely be added to your must-go festivals next summer.
Recognised as IMRO Best Small Live Music Festival of the Year, Beyond the Pale offers a great mix of international talent, Irish favourites, and breakthrough artists. For those night owls among us, they also have plenty of late-night areas for anyone who wants to keep the fun going all day long.

Billed as "one of its most ambitious editions yet", the three-day festival has announced 30 new music acts and revealed its full day-by-day lineups for the first time.
Friday will open with a huge electronic-leaning lineup led by headliner Caribou, alongside Groove Armada (DJ set), Moodymann, and the newly announced Tinlicker (live).
Those acts will be joined by a powerful mix of international and homegrown names. These include Sama’ Abdulhadi, Jan Blomqvist Band, Princess Nokia, Σtella, Jenny Greene, DUG, Chalk, Al Gibbs, Ela Minus, Dose, AliA and Souzac, Nicole Spagnol and Dublin Disco All-Dayer.
Saturday brings one of Beyond The Pale’s biggest days to date, headlined by Primal Scream and Soulwax. Both are era-defining acts whose live shows have shaped generations of festival-goers.

The two acts lead a stacked Saturday lineup that features Kojaque, Sister Sledge, BIIRD, Bricknasty, the just announced Ben Klock, 2Many DJs, Christian Loffler, Marie Davidson (live), The Sabres of Paradise, and Gui Boratto.
That's not all, as also on the bill are Kittin, Cliffords, Mr Scruff, Kormac, Fejka, CC:Disco!, Curtisy, Maykay, SexyTadhg, Cailín, Lullahush, Shark School, Jake Fitz, Melodic DJs, Maicín, Sei Green, Boolaboom, Zeztra, (ART)IFICIAL, JB the Deejay, and Stomptown Brass performs Jamie xx.
Sunday closes out the festival with an unmissable finale led by American singer-songwriter Father John Misty, whose acclaimed live performances make him one of the must-see headliners of the summer festival season.
He will be joined on the last day of the festival by Honey Dijon, Of Monsters & Men, NewDad, and one of the most anticipated new lineup additions, Dove Ellis. The breakthrough Irish artist's Beyond The Pale performance will be his only Irish show this summer. So if you are a fan of the rising indie folk musician, this is where you can see him.
Sunday's packed line-up also features Max Cooper (3D/AV Live), Claptone, Horace Andy & the Dub Asante Band feat. Matic Horns, Irvine Welsh, Nouvelle Vague, Róis, Madra Salach, TSHA, Gabriels (DJ set), Elaine Mai, Overhead The Albatross, Bedlam, Malix, Croįthe, Absolute Lilt, Evan Gildersleeve, Dreamboy, Starlight Project, and Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space performed by Glasshouse Ensemble & Dublin Gospel Choir.

What makes Beyond the Pale so special is that there's something for everyone to do. While it of course offers outstanding musical performances, it is so much more than just a music festival. Beyond the Pale has a unique blend of world-class music, arts, food, and wellness, providing a full festival experience for everyone to enjoy.
For those of us not wanting to live off protein bars and instant noodles for the weekend, they offer curated dining experiences. Expect chef-led pop-ups and Beyond The Plate tastings over the weekend, along with the chance to taste test some craft cocktails, wines, and local brews. Who says you can’t expand your palate at a festival?
Ali Dunworth, one of Ireland’s most celebrated food writers and curators, is at the helm of Beyond The Plate for 2026, which has a new theme this year: The Spice Bag Edition. This will celebrate the global influence on Irish food through tastings, collaborations, along with food and drink storytelling.
Three of Dublin’s most exciting restaurants join the programme, with pre-booking for festival-goers opening in the coming weeks. Ranelagh’s Host brings primal, fire-led cooking and generous shared plates; Reggie’s, the cult Rathmines pizzeria, brings its signature pies to the festival; and Ibíle serves bold West African flavours and spice-driven dishes designed for sharing.

Capacity for these sit-down dining experiences is limited, with registration now open for first access before bookings go public through the festival's website.
Festivals don’t always have to mean drinking all day and terrible hangovers in a flooded tent when it ultimately starts to rain. The Wicklow festival continues to elevate its boutique experience with luxury glamping, pre-pitched bell tents, saunas, cold-water dips, and the return of the Acushla wellness area, whose full programme will be announced in the coming weeks.
Taking some zen time before embarking on an epic day of fun with friends sounds perfect to me!
Expect epic outdoor activities too, like forest foraging and birdwatching. With the backdrop of the gorgeous Glendalough Estate’s wonderful woods, beautiful lakes, and epic open skies, returning to nature has never sounded better.
A new karaoke pop-up will debut in the main arena as well, hosted by official charity partner Dublin Simon Community. This is alongside the return of the charity’s Beyond The Trail, with over half of this year’s places already snapped up following last year’s Wicklow Way hike that raised €19,000. Taking part is a great way to meet new people while supporting a great cause.

On top of all this, Beyond the Pale will have lots of amazing comedy, theatre and cabaret acts taking place over the weekend, perfect for those who want to just sit and soak up some culture.
The festival has unveiled the first look at its arts and family programme, which will feature more than 75 artworks and events. The full reveal will land in April.
Early highlights include Shane Daniel Byrne’s Comedy Shithouse, a who’s who of alternative Irish comedy; Steo Wall presents The Pavee Club, showcasing outstanding talent from the Irish Traveller community; We Are Griot host a special festival edition of their ferocious spoken word event Talkatives; Outstraight Records bring their high-octane hip-hop takeover to the paddock; and Burning Circus debut a new dedicated area packed with headline fire shows, flow workshops and DJ sets.

Bang Bike: Analogue Bubble Bath also returns as the much-loved battery-powered pop-up party, while the festival’s after-dark world expands with cult spectacle EGG Cabaret, Climbwallsweird, Boolaboom, and sizzling club night TENDER.
Special commissions and events remain at the heart of Beyond The Pale as well, with Una Mullally’s Grianstad: The Trip, an immersive audio journey inspired by the land and myth of St Kevin, and Undercurrent, Ireland’s first bespoke festival flag commission created by Amyrose Bryan. Paahto & The Bull, John Frances Flynn’s new band, has also been announced to spearhead an incredible Puc Fada lineup.

So if you’re looking for a comprehensive festival experience, Beyond the Pale has you sorted.
Weekend camping tickets are now on sale at www.itsbeyondthepale.ie and Ticketmaster, with instalment plans available until March 31st while allocations last.
Limited Sunday day tickets will also become available later this month, including Sunday night camping.
Get ready for the ultimate weekend with friends at Beyond the Pale 2026.
