Ever been on a night-out that was so boring it ended up being...kind of brilliant? You know the one. Your brother's colleague's cousin's birthday where you end up chatting to Brian about his office's work-from-home policy for about 45 minutes. Or the "wild after-party" you were promised ends up being a lacklustre game of cards before the host poorly stifles a yawn and calls it a night.

We've all been there. As dull as these nights-out are, there's also a charm to them. They stay with us and years later, they still manage to make us laugh.

BuzzBallz - the viral, cult ready-to-drink brand known for its brightly coloured, bold and instantly recognisable ball-shaped drinks - have teamed up with Irish personality and nightlife connoisseur James Kavanagh for Spill the Ballz, an incredible event dedicated to celebrating your most banal night-out stories.

On Thursday 28th August between 3pm and 7pm, James will set up shop in the BallzMobilez in Dundrum Town Centre. Dubliners are then invited to Spill the Ballz on their best boring night-out stories while James listens, roasts and doles out some cheeky advice.

But that's not all. The person with the ultimate boring night-out story will win a gloriously ridiculous prize from BuzzBallz - a whole year's supply of ballz. That's right, throughout the year, the winner will receive 12 months of big, small, bouncy, and bizarre ballz, landing on your doorstep to keep life spicy and the group chat alive. From some fresh sliotars in July (perfect for pucking around) to a dazzling set of December baubles for your tree (or your DJ booth – no judgement), every season will be covered. Expect the unexpected for those willing to Spill the Ballz.

All you have to do is join James in the BallzMobilez and hand over your worst tale to the presenter. In return? You'll get a roasting, some cheeky advice, and the chance to win the most gloriously ridiculous prize of all – a whole year’s supply of Ballz.

Ahead of the event, James said: “In Ireland, if there’s anything we know how to do is how to have the craic. But what’s almost funnier are the nights that don’t go quite as planned and sharing those gas stories with your friends. I think of all the best nights out that were still epic even when things weren’t 100% perfect. Sometimes you’ve just got to grab the situation by the (buzz)ballz, roll with it, and laugh it off.”
