Widely regarded as one of Ireland's best Sean-nós singers, the incomparable Seán Keane is not to be missed at this year's Fleadh Cheoil. Keane will be performing alongside Dervish for a double concert at the Cathedral of Christ the King on Thursday 10th August at 7pm. Tickets cost €32.50, or €20 at the door for under 16s.
Expect a musical experience like no other as Frankie Gavin & De Dannan take to the Fleadh Cheoil on Thursday 10th August at 9pm. The legendary group will perform at St. Paul's Church, with tickets starting at €30.
Dervish
The world-famous Dervish will join the aforementioned Sean Keane for an unmissable double concert at the Cathedral of Christ the King on Thursday 10th August at 7pm. Expect an incredible musical fusion in this iconic collaboration. Tickets cost €32.50, or €20 at the door for under 16s.
For a dynamic and energetic performance, make sure you catch the traditional folk and ballad band The Kilkennys at this year's Fleadh Cheoil. This band brings a contemporary element to tradition music, and they'll be performing alongside Ríl Óg for a double concert at the Mullingar Arts Centre on Tuesday 8th August. Tickets cost €20.
Another double concert not to miss at this year's Fleadh Cheoil is Seoid and Gerry O'Connor. Seoid is a Sligo-based trad group, and they'll be joining the acclaimed musician Gerry O'Connor, a true legend of the traditional music scene. Catch these two acts at 8pm on Saturday 12th of August at the Mullingar Arts Centre. Tickets cost €25.
