Line of Duty fans will want to tune into this episode…

The Late Late Show returns on Friday night for an episode featuring a former Taoiseach, an Irish acting star and some acclaimed journalists.

Host Ryan Tubridy will chat all things Line of Duty with Adrian Dunbar, the man better known to the show’s legions of fans as Superintendent Ted Hastings. Mother of God.

Former Taoiseach Enda Kenny will join Ryan ahead of his role in a new show starting next week, which sees him rediscovering Ireland’s railway routes.

Broadcaster Sarah McInerney, recently announced as one of the new presenters of Prime Time, will chat about her new role, taking those in power to task and how she ended up presenting a whole radio show on her mobile phone.

Paul Howard, journalist and author of 23 books featuring Ross O’ Carroll Kelly, will be on the show to discuss everything from class privilege in Ireland to how rock is surviving the pandemic, while a group of parents and children who are living with autism and the everyday challenges they face will also be on the show to mark World Autism Awareness Day.

Hotelier John Fitzpatrick, of the famous Fitzpatrick’s hotel in Manhattan, will be on to talk about New York opening up, the vaccine rollout and whether we’ll see the Irish in the Big Apple anytime soon.

The music line-up, meanwhile, includes Wild Youth, who will be exclusively performing their new single ‘Can’t Say No’.

On the day of its release, John Spillane will also perform a song from his critically acclaimed album 100 Snow White Horses.

You can check out The Late Late Show on RTÉ One on Friday, 2 April at 9.35pm.
