How well do you know the Internet’s Boyfriends?
There is an online phenomenon known as being “the Internet’s Boyfriend”.
Different celebrities have different titles assigned to them: Oscar Isaac is an example of the Internet’s Dad, Kathryn Hahn is one of the Internet’s Moms, and so on.
It isn’t a title you can strive towards, it is a title that it thrusted upon you.
Being the Internet’s Boyfriend isn’t necessarily romantic or sexual, more of an honorary role, filled by folk that the general public have decided are good people.
At the moment, the Internet has several boyfriends, and two of the best are Simu Liu and Rahul Kohli.
Through a mix of being properly funny and insightful on their respective Twitter feeds, as well as a (mostly) healthy amount of online thirst, both actors have amassed huge online fanbases eagerly awaiting their next set of 280 characters or less.
Liu is best known for being the star Marvel’s recent hit Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (for which we interviewed him, right here), as well as the much-loved sitcom Kim’s Convienence.
Kohli has had everyone screaming their heads off (in an appropriate way) thanks to his roles in Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Bly Manor, as well as voicing Scarecrow in the hit Harley Quinn animated show.
So to celebrate these two Internet’s Boyfriends, we’ve put a little quiz together, based on their respective tweets.
