JOE’s Song Of The Day #874 – Rowan ‘I Had A Dream’

Eric Lalor

From the debut EP by Cork-based indie-folk outfit, Rowan.

Currently based in Cork, Irish outfit Rowan certainly know how to make a catchy tune. Think Keane, The Lightning Seeds, and any other indie bands capable of leaving you with an earworm and you’ll get the picture.

Rowan is made up of multi-instrumentalists Dylan Howe, Fionn Hennessy-Hayes, and Kevin Herron, who, on an individual level, have worked with artists of the calibre of TOUCAN, Stephanie Rainey, The Frank & Walters, Little Hours and Clare Sands.

The lads have now come together as a collective and it is their audience reaping the rewards. The early signs are very promising with singles such as ‘Finish Line’, ‘Moonlight’ and our Song of the Day today, ‘I Had A Dream’.

The song appears on Rowan’s debut EP, titled No One Is Safe Here, which also features the song ‘Moonlight’ alongside more cracking new tunes.
