Like having a personal trainer in the gym, this little tweak on an old idea might be a good way of keeping on top of everything you have to do.
Carrot is an innovative new way to use to-do lists, giving it a personality. An artificially intelligent to-do list that allows you to unlock features of the app by completing tasks like reminders or games.
It also works the other way, however - if you don't complete a task for a while it will let you know all about it, tell you that you haven't been productive, annoy you, but in the best way possible.
