Gardai probe whether woman was pushed from balcony in Dublin

A woman is in a serious condition after she was found on the ground outside apartments on the Main Street of Belmayne.
It is understood the woman, aged in her thirties, was in a first floor apartment when an alleged row occurred.
Gardai confirmed this afternoon (Tuesday) that a man in his twenties has been arrested in connection with the investigation. He is currently being questioned by Gardai under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
In a statement, Gardai said they "continue to investigate an alleged incident of serious assault, which occurred near Main Street, Belmayne, Dublin 13 on Monday 28th September 2026.
"A male (aged in his 20’s) has been arrested today, Tuesday 29th September 2026, in connection with the investigation.
"He is currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in the Dublin area.
"Investigations are ongoing."
