On a starring night of charity that included the likes of Roy Keane, Will Ferrell and eh... him from JLS, it was Kasabian's Sergio Pizzorno who stole the show with a sublime finish.

Tonight was the seventh night of the British charity event Soccer Aid, which raised cash in aid of UNICEF UK by pitting two teams - England and Rest of the World - comprised of celebrities and ex-footballers.

The game at Old Trafford tonight included an English team featuring Olly Murs, Teddy Sheringham and Robbie Williams, while a star-studded Rest of the World outfit included Gerard Butler, Ed Norton, Jaap Stam and the intriguing strike duo of Will Ferrell and Mike Myers.

Though the mood of frivolity was somewhat soured by a challenge to chef Gordon Ramsey - who had to leave the field on a stretcher following a tough challenge - Kasabian guitarist Sergio Pizzorno provided the highlight of the night with an incredibly well-taken first half goal.

Fans of the indie act know only too well of the 31-year-old's skill, as he once had trials with Nottingham Forest as a youth and memorably hit a famous volley in the "Road to Wembley" segment on Soccer AM.
