All people who it has been claimed, according to science, are the most beautiful or handsome person in the world.
Now, some are saying there’s another contender for the title – Pamela Anderson.
It comes after Anderson went makeup free to a film festival recently.
The 57-year-old actress appeared at a photocall on Friday for her upcoming film, The Last Showgirl during the 2024 San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain.
She wore a vibrant long-sleeved, flowing floral dress, small diamond stud earrings and heels, without makeup.
Anderson later appeared on the red carpet for the film’s premiere, this time wearing a pink gown with just a touch of red lipstick.
As photos from the event emerged, fans flocked to social media to praise the icon, labelling her ‘the most beautiful woman in the world’.
One fan wrote: “She’s happy in her own skin. She’s incredible!”
While another said: “She has never looked better, so naturally stunning and no needful make up. Lucky lady.”
The Baywatch star first drew attention to this style after being photographed up close for the WWD February 2024 cover without makeup on.
She shared a series of photos from the shoot and captioned them: “I’d rather show my freckles…” She added: “It’s fun getting old. It’s a relief.”
In an interview with Elle she described it as ‘freeing, fun and a little rebellious too.’
She said: “I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older. And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look in the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really… what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey.”
However, it is not just a style choice for Anderson, her decision is also connected with the death of her close friend and makeup artist Alexis Vogel, who died of breast cancer in 2019.
She said: “She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”
