Not only was Home and Away Star Brax knocking about Mayo at the weekend, he took up hurling too. James Horan missed a trick there.
While most of the Mayo panel soak up the sun in Miami a man more used to the sunshine was rocking up to Westport.
Home and Away star Steve Peacocke (Brax to you and me) was in Westport for a public appearance as part of his Irish tour (?) and, as you might expect, he was persuaded to appear in a GAA shirt.
But rather than don the famous red and green, he instead togged out in Westport GAA’s colours and brandished a hurley for good measure. We hope his biggest Irish fan made it down to see him.

Could Brax be the next Keith Higgins? Who knows. Anyway, while we are delighted that Brax is on this fair island, the Home and Away star we really want to see over here is Galway-supporting April (played by Rhiannon Fish).

We can but dream anyway…
Thanks to @ciaranhynes3 for the pic.
