In a sentence we never thought we would write, Mícheál O'Muircheartaigh inspires awe in Calum Best in this preview of the new series of Celebrity Bainisteoir.
We all know that former RTE GAA commentator Míchéal O'Muircheartaigh is one of the most charming men to ever pick up a microphone and his softly-spoken passion for all things Gaelic games is more infectious than the shower in the Tallafornia house.
So we were not surprised to see this year’s batch of new managers for reality show Celebrity Bainisteoir watch in silent awe as Michael explained to them just how important the GAA is, in his wonderful Kerry brogue.
Most impressed of all was Calum Best, who likened it to a religious experience, while Paddy Doherty was also dazzled. We should send Míchéal over to Angela Merkel next time.
