Video: What Breaking Bad would look like as a mid-90s family-friendly sitcom

It might be hard to imagine Breaking Bad as anything but a gritty, edgy and occasionally quite shocking drama series, but this alternate, family-friendly montage of the show is quite brilliant.

Fans of Breaking Bad will know that the series is anything but family friendly – the fact that a drug addict and a teacher suffering from cancer selling crystal meth to provide for his family are the lead characters kind of gives it away – but what it would be like if the series was given an intro with a theme tune more familiar to the likes of Seventh Heaven and other similarly bland US sitcoms from the mid-90s?

Set to the sound of the Foreigner song 'White Lie', the clips in the montage above are all from the show, but the text, the music, the editing and the smiling faces make it appear as if the subject matter is somewhat more light-hearted than is actually the case.

Funny stuff... bitch.
