The latest trailer for Battlefield 4 looks like it will offer gamers realistic and vast environments as well as story-driven action.
By Adrian Collins
At a lengthy 17 minutes, this latest trailer certainly takes up a fair whack of your time, but it gives you a great impression of what the finished product of this game will be like, and there’s definitely a focus on the storyline for this title. Even if you just stick with it for a few minutes, you'll get an idea about the game.
You take on the role of Recker, and in the video, the action kicks off as he and his squad are stuck inside a sinking car, not a great place to be. From there we get launched into the gameplay itself, and we’re very impressed by the graphics, but given that it’s running on the Frostbite 3 engine we should hardly be surprised.
That engine allows for much larger game environments and increased interaction, meaning that players can go through buildings rather than around them, as well as added opportunity for destruction.
The game is due out at some stage in the autumn of this year, but already looks incredibly polished from what we’ve seen so far.
