Determined not to be outdone by Croatia fans in a Poznan tram on Sunday, Irish supporters belted out a version of an age-old Irish classic, the Home and Away theme tune.
There have been numerous brilliant videos of Irish fans at the Euros in the last few days, from the greeting they gave to the English team in Krakow last week to the Longford man on the news who was convinced that Munich is actually called Bayern Munich.
We think that this one, however, might be the best yet. With the Croatian fans singing their heart out on a Poznan tram on the way to the game yesterday, our lads had to come up with something to remind everyone of just who were the loudest and most passionate set of supporters at the Euros.
We’re not sure what bright spark came up with the idea to start singing the Home and Away theme tune, but it worked a treat, with Irish fans to a man belting out the words to the one song in Ireland that you can be sure everyone will know.
Anyway, less of our talk, we don’t want to take you away from what is a classic clip for any longer than is necessary.
Check it out for yourself in the video above.
