John W. Henry and NESV have offered Kenny Dalglish a contract and a significant transfer budget for the summer.
The 60-year old Liverpool legend has done an admirable job since taking over from the sacked Roy Hodgson in January.
Dalglish has masterminded five wins in Liverpool’s last seven matches, including a 3-1 victory over League leaders Manchester United.
The Scot was hoping to be offered a four-year deal, but the Daily Express report that a two-year contract is what is currently on the table.
As such, his deal will be a year and a half shorter than the one signed in January by assistant manager Steve Clarke.
Dalglish will apparently be compensated by the fact that he will be given over €50m to spend in the next transfer window.
