Possibly the only tweet more popular than the Telegraph’s on Alex Ferguson was this unfortunate typo posted by Swansea’s official Twitter account.
We’ve all done it. Through either a slip of the finger, or the pesky auto-correct, we’ve all tweeted or texted the wrong word now and again. Occasionally that typo will be much funnier than what we intended to type, leading to comedy gold like this.
During last night’s fairly frantic game between Wigan and Swansea at the DW the person in charge of Swansea’s Twitter account was kept very busy with lots of goals and incidents to keep tabs on.
And when the first Swansea goal went in, one small typo saw this tweet get retweeted over 9,000 times.

Childish? Certainly, but still funny.
