Next week’s Uefa Europa League final in the Aviva will be the hottest ticket in town. When 7000 tickets were placed on sale to the general public by the FAI earlier this year, the offer was oversubscribed by three to one.
FAI chief executive John Delaney has revealed that a limited number would go on sale this week, but again, the demand was sure to outweigh the supply.
But you still have a chance to get to the big game between Portuguese rivals FC Porto and Sporting Braga at the Aviva next week, as our partners SEAT Ireland have two tickets to give away for the big event.
The game will bring real Iberian flavour to Dublin next week – it will be the most neighbourly ever European final, as the two cities are less than 50 kilometres apart in northern Portugal.
It won’t be all love and harmony, however, with the sides sure to go at it hammer and tongs as they battle for local bragging rights on a continental stage.
