Arsenal 2-1 Birmingham
The Gunners came from behind at the Emirates to end their recent losing run.
Nikola Zigic gave the Blues a shock lead in the 33rd minute when he headed home Keith Fahey’s cross.
The lead lasted less than ten minutes, as Samir Nasri coverted a penalty awarded for a foul on Maroune Chamakh.
Chamakh scores Arsenal’s second and ultimately winning goal early in the second half.
The result was spoiled somewhat as Jack Wilshere was sent off late in the game for a rash tackle on Zigic.
Fulham 1-2 Tottenham
Tottenham ended Fulham’s unbeaten start to the season in a controversial encounter at Craven Cottage.
Diomansy Kamara scored the opening goal when he easily converted a Clint Dempsey cross after some great play by the American.
The lead didn’t last long, however, as Roman Pavlyuchenko tapped the ball in, after magnificent control and chip by Rafael van der Vaart.
Tottenham’s second goal, which came from the boot of Tom Huddlestone, was initially ruled out for a William Gallas offside.
After consulting with the referee Mike Dean, however, the assistant changed his mind and the goal was given.
Manchester United 2-2 West Brom
Alex Ferguson’s side blew a two goal half-time lead as West Brom came away with a very valuable point.
Javi Hernandez opened the scoring for the Red Devils in the fifth minute, after getting on the end of Nani’s free-kick.
In the 25th minute, Nani made a great run down the right wing, before playing the ball to Berbatov who played it back to the Portuguese winger who scored easily.
The Baggies pulled one back early in the second half, when Patrice Evra turned Chris Brunt’s corner into his own net.
Albion’s equaliser came after an appalling blunder from Edwin van der Sar.
The Dutchman fumbled a Chris Brunt cross allowing Somen Tchoyi to score the easiest of tap-ins.
Elsewhere
Newcastle came from two goals down against Wigan to rescue a point, thank to a Fabricio Coloccini goal deep into injury time.
Bolton’s Ivan Klasnic also scored a late goal, as his side defeated Stoke 2-1. It was a mixed day for the striker, however, as he received a red card very soon after.
West Ham, meanwhile, came away from Wolverhampton with a point thanks to Mark Noble’s equalising penalty.
