If you don’t like the sight of a guy having his leg broken and writhing on the ground in agony, then look away now. If you’re going to keep watching, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
The tackle happened during St. Etienne’s victory over Nice at the weekend but it is only in the last 24 hours that French officials have decided to ban the perpetrator, Nice’s Valentin Eyserric, for eleven games, meaning that he won’t play again this season.
That might sound harsh at first, but you’ll understand exactly why he copped such a lengthy ban when you see his challenge on St. Etienne’s Jeremy Clement (see video above), which left the poor St. Etienne midfielder with a broken leg and severely damaged ankle ligaments and after surgery earlier this week, he is expected to be out for at least six months.
We’ve already watched it a few times and recoiled in horror every single time so trust us when we warn you that this is not for the faint-hearted.
