Super Mario Balotelli took some time out of trying to help Man City to the Premier League title by catching up with old chums at Inter today - in typically comical Balotelli fashion.
Timing is everything in both comedy and football, and Balotelli is one of the most hilarious footballers we’re ever likely to see.
So when did he decide to renew old acquaintances at the San Siro? Well right smack bang in the middle of Inter’s press conference to unveil new manager Andrea Stramaccioni today.
What Balotelli was doing back in Milan - and with a red Ferrari, no less, under his arse - is something that has so far defied all explanation; the lads at Inter clearly weren’t expecting him.
Inter CEO Ernesto Paolillo told the Daily Mail, “He came to say hello to everybody at the training centre then left. We did not know he was coming but it’s not the first time. It’s typical of Mario. I see him sometimes when he comes to Milan.
“I did not see the Ferrari as I was inside the press conference unveiling our new coach Andrea. We kissed hello and he left. We had no time to speak. I’ve known him at Inter since he was a young boy.”
