Footballers get a bad rap these days but at least two of Manchester United’s stars sat with their own fans on Sunday.

It was the biggest, and best, FA Cup game of the weekend and everybody wanted to see it, including those United players who were injured.

But rather than watch their side beat arch-rivals City 3-2 from the comfort of a corporate box or from the bench, Darren Fletcher and Ashley Young took to the away end at the Etihad Stadium to watch the action with the visiting United fans.

This video, posted by user seddiman on YouTube, shows the midfield duo leaving the game, much to the excitement of the United fans.

This sort of thing should happen more often but sadly it doesn't. We would like to have seen Carlos Tevez rock up to the home end though.
