After a career that has spanned fifteen years in the most competitive football county of them all, Tomas O’Se is rightly receiving praise up and down the country for his contributions in a green and gold jersey.

Cork football supporters could be forgiven for being thankful that he has decided to call it a day after being a thorn in their side during their numerous encounters over the years, but players, supporters and journalists alike have been widespread in their praise of one of the finest wing-backs to ever grace the game. It was announced last week that he would take charge of the UCC Freshers side with rumours that he would call it a day with Kerry, which is exactly what he has decided to do.
