Legendary Kilkenny hurling figure DJ Carey has been hospitalised after unexpectedly collapsing in his home earlier today, according to reports.
The 41-year old was rushed to hospital and is currently undergoing treatment but is believed to be in a stable condition after suffering a suspected heart attack.
Widely recognised as one of the greatest hurlers the game has ever seen, Carey won five All-Ireland titles with the Cats and won nine All-Star awards.
