Picture: Hilariously unfortunate North Korea graphic on Swedish television

Kim Jong-un has a lot on his plate at the moment but he still found time to appear on Swedish TV yesterday. Well he didn’t but this picture make it looks like he did.

Because of the whole threat of nuclear war thing everybody’s talking about at the moment, the situation in North Korea is major news and often the first topic of debate on current affairs television programmes worldwide.

So important is it in Sweden, in fact, that a Swedish morning programme managed to get Kim Jong-un himself in to talk about it in person, quite a feat given his general reticence towards the media and the world outside North Korea.

The North Korean Supreme Leader didn’t appear in person on the programme of course, but a perfectly placed background graphic made it appear as if he was sat alongside the two other guests and was about to make a move on the free coffee and muffins provided.

Rumour has it that Kim Jong-un has made only one appearance on a chat show to date and it attracted the world’s highest ever ratings for a single television programme and it was broadcast on the same day he followed in the footsteps of his Dad and shot 11 holes-in-one in a 38-under par round on the golf course.

What a man.
