Heartbreaking news.
The son of Pawn Stars creator Rick Harrison has died at the age of 39.
TMZ reports that the family learned of Adam Harrison’s death on Friday (19 January), which was later confirmed by a representative for Rick.
The media outlet also states that the Las Vegas Metro Police Department has said that an investigation into the death has been opened.
A statement issued by Rick’s PR rep Laura Herlovich on behalf of the family reads:
“Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss.”
Rick also posted a photo of him with Adam on social media with the caption: “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam.”

Pawn Stars creator Rick Harrison’s son Adam dies aged 39
Adam was one of three children to Rick. However, he rarely featured in the show Pawn Stars or on social media.
He is reported to have helped out at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop shown on the History Channel programme, before later deciding to step away to take his own path.
Rick is best known for hosting the History Channel programme in which he studies rare antiques.
