It’s over twenty years since the film came out
Two child actors who starred in School of Rock are now engaged after falling in love following the hit movie.
It’s over two decades since the iconic film starring Jack Black and a young Miranda Cosgrove was released.
Its child stars are now all grown up and many of them have left their acting careers behind them.
Caitlin Hale, who played Marta aka ‘Blondie’, went on to work as a sonographer, but she kept in touch with many of her co-stars.
Hale has been dating Angelo Massagli, who played Frankie the ‘tough guy’, since 2016.
School of Rock cast mates reveal they’re now engaged after falling in love
In a previous interview with Inside Edition, he explained how he learned Hale was moving to Florida, where he lived at the time, through a group chat where the cast members keep up with each other’s news.
He said they ‘hit each other up’ while Hale added: “The rest is history. This is locked down.”
Hale shared a ‘sneak peek’ of a set of professional photos on her Instagram where she appears to have a ring on her wedding finger.
The photographer shared the same series of photos in late August. He wrote: “Some moments don’t need words – they need to be felt.
“Caitlin and Angelo brought their undeniable chemistry to this engagement session, and the result is pure sophistication. Their elegant style combined with the soft, natural light perfectly highlights their connection against the backdrop of the city.
“Every detail of these moments was about capturing their story in a way that feels timeless yet distinctly modern.
“When love is this effortless, the images speak for themselves.”
Previously, Massagli recalled the first time he met Hale as the pair auditioned for the cult classic musical comedy.
He said: “I get in there and the little blonde girl next to me, she gets called in first and she starts singing show tunes and just blows the roof off the place. It was excellent.”
Their School of Rock co-star Rivkah Reyes was one of the first to congratulate the happy couple simply saying: “BABESSS.”
Fans also flocked to congratulate the pair with one saying: “So rock n roll IS about scoring chicks!”
Another wrote: “I feel like my childhood is complete seeing y’all together.” A third commented: “Congratulations to the actors who played my two favourite characters in School of Rock!”
