Mike Skinner aka The Streets become a voice of a generation in the noughties. His lyrics bottled the essence of everyday life, inspiring a whole new generation of British artists with his honest but witty tunes.
Major hits like “Dry Your Eyes” and “Fit But You Know It” saw him turn simple nights out into epic tales that fans could easily identify with. Aside from being a lyrical genius, he was also a multi-instrumentalist and he produced all his own albums.
