Our obsession with bread truly knows no bounds.
Whether it’s buying loaves by the armful when a storm’s brewing or chowing down on a crisp sambo at the end of a long day, a sliced pan speaks to the Irish soul.
Cheese toasties, triple decker BLTs or the eagerly-anticipated Christmas leftover sarnie, sandwiches are a staple of the typical Irish diet. At the end of the day (or any time of day for that matter!), nothing quite compares to the soft simplicity of a tasty sliced pan.
Just as versatile as it is nutritious, bread is a great way to sneak some iron, calcium and B vitamins into your diet, while some variants are also fortified with vitamin D and seeds!
