In a Kingdom far, far away…
Kerry is the only place in Ireland that you can accurately describe as “out of this world.” Since Skellig Michael was used to film Star Wars, the entire county will always be a place for star gazers from all over the world.
It isn’t just because of the movies either, as Southern Kerry is the only place in the northern hemisphere where you can take in a night sky of this standard. Over 6,000 stars can been seen at once by the naked eye (count them if you don’t believe us), and the lack of light pollution means you’ll get to see more than the vast majority of people on earth.

Stargazing trip to South Kerry
