We love a bit of Jack Sparrow here at JOE, especially when his latest adventure, Pirates of the Carribean: Salazar’s Revenge, is about to be released.
The fifth instalment of the epic seafaring saga features a bucketload of talent: Depp, Javier Bardem, Geoffrey Rush, and a return of favourites Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom.
The film features a whole lot of swashbuckling antics with new talent Brandon Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario and is a possible last outing for the crew of the Black Pearl.
To mark the occasion, we thought we’d have a bit of an adventure with some of our readers. Unearthing an old map in the dungeons of the JOE offices, we examined it and saw that it contained a series of clues leading to a hidden treasure (A Samsung S8 to make calls on the high seas).
Clues will be released from 12:30 pm on Monday, 29 May, on the Her (her.ie) and JOE (joe_ie) Snapchats, as well as the Her and JOE Twitter accounts.
Simply follow the clues and find out where we’re located and come down to claim your prize. The first salty sea dog person there is the winner.
