As the world gets ever more inter-connected, it can seem ever more impersonal. So while internet dating may suit some, it certainly won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, for any number of reasons.
But there are other options out there apart from the ‘net and trawling pubs and clubs. Intro.ie is Ireland’s exclusive introductions agency. Operating from offices in Dublin they have members from all across Ireland.
The main thing you need to know is that Intro is NOT an internet dating site, in fact it’s the opposite. They meet all clients face to face, complete a detailed profile and based on that they arrange suitable matches. They even arrange the date itself so that you don’t even have to reveal your phone number.
There are loads of good reasons why Intro is they way to go:
- They check passports or drivers licenses to ensure people are who they say they are
- They only accept those that are actually available and looking for a relationship-married people need not apply
- Client information is kept strictly private and confidential, so there is no risk of being seen by your family/friends/colleagues online
- There are no photographs, each date is a blind date so the focus is on the more important aspects of finding a suitable match
- They verify a lot of information that can be fabricated or enhanced online. If you say you are a 6’3” rugby player, you better be or else
- Each member invests the same amount of time and money in the process so you can be sure you’re meeting someone that’s actually looking for a relationship and not a one night stand!
Their current membership ranges in age from 22 to 79 so there should be someone for everyone and you have the safety, security and vital info you just can’t get online.
You can find out much more in the video and as one of our JOE's will be signing up to see just how it works, check back with us to find out much more about how the whole thing works.
