While Felix Baumgartner’s understated European cool was very impressive, this piss take of how he would have sounded if he was from Cork is better.

Since Felix Baumgartner performed his epic Space Jump back at the start of October we’ve seen many fine piss takes of the stunt. The world’s shortest freefall was one, while Sergio Ramos, and more recently Neymar, have had their poor penalties shopped into Felix’s daredevil stunt.

But we hadn’t seen a decent Irish version appear. Until now. With a hat-tip to YouTuber Simonlwork and Redditor SimonM66, who are probably the same person, we present this very funny video.

Taking the very simple premise that Felix is from Cork, it lets us in on what the jump would have sounded like with a Leesider in the space suit. As you can imagine, there are a few swears so stick the headphones in.

Our favourite bit is the fact that no other landmark outside Cork gets a name check as Felix plummets to earth, a fine nod to Corkonian’s (alleged) world view.
