On May 22 of 2015, Ireland turned up to the polls and voted in a landslide for the legalisation of same-sex marriage, recognising in law that everyone in Ireland is equal regardless of sexual orientation.
After weeks and months and lifetimes of tireless campaigning for equality, members and allies of Ireland's LGBTQ community took to the streets across the country to celebrate the historic shift.
