Big Bang Comics in Dundrum to host a Batman Day this Saturday
A major comic book store in Dublin is holding a Batman Day this Saturday, with a number of events and special offers.
Big Bang Comics in Dundrum Town Centre is playing host to a day dedicated to Batman this Saturday.
Batman Day was first celebrated by DC Comics last year on the Dark Knight's 75th birthday, and it has now become an annual event.
The store will be giving out this year’s Batman Day Exclusive Comic, Batman Endgame #1 by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo with an exclusive preview of Batman and Robin Eternal #1 by James Tynion IV, Scott Snyder and Tony Daniel.
Stephen Mooney, an artist on both the Grayson and Midnighter titles from DC, will be signing copies in store between 2pm and 4pm.
The first 25 people through the door will receive goody bags with assorted Batman comic books, while Big Bang Comics are also offering 25% off all Batman products - excluding items already reserved or on pre-order - throughout the day.
Finally, anyone in cosplay will be entered into a competition over the course of the next week on the store’s Facebook page to win a DC Comics Cover Girls Harley Quinn Statue worth €150.00, the winner will be decided by the public.
