Eir experiencing issues with data and network "in all areas"
If you're an Eir customer, you've probably already noticed.
Many Eir customers have reported issues with their data and network connectivity throughout Tuesday (7 July).
In a statement issued on Twitter, Eir confirmed that they are aware of the issue and working to resolve it.
A spokesperson for the company said: "We are currently experiencing issues with our Mobile Data and Network in all areas and are looking to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. We are working tirelessly to get the service restored. Thank you for your patience and understanding."
Similarly, the MyEir service on the Eir website has crashed.
While the network provider has given no timeline for when the service will return, a spokesperson for Eir said "there are reports of some being back up and running."
