LISTEN: We’ve put together a Dublin Pride Playlist to help get your party started

Rory Cashin

We’re right in the middle of Dublin Pride festival, with the city a constant buzz with celebrations of all things LGBTQ.

With the big parade taking place today, and the rest of the weekend giving itself over to all things Pride, we imagine there will be a lot of house parties both before and after, full of prinking and night-caps.

As is usually the case with any kind of house-party with lots of different people, who gets to be DJ can be a bit of an issue, but don’t worry, your friends here at JOE have you covered.

We’ve put together a 20-track playlist which will cover your house party for just under an hour and half, so you can focus on more important things, like trying to decide which of the many events happening throughout the city you’re going to attend!

Now, as much as we’re a fan of Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family” and Diana Ross’ “I’m Coming Out”, we did try to keep it a little bit modern, so you’ll find lots of artists and songs you’ll already know and love from the last few years.

There are also loads of cult-y gems you may not have heard of, but they are definitely tracks that will get the party started, and keep it going.

Now… WERQ!
