Nivea Men Review: Nivea Men Sensitive Moisturiser

Saving face is always important, in particular when we mean it quite literally

Saving face is always important, in particular when we mean it quite literally

We know that women have all their lotions and potions to keep themselves young and good looking, so why shouldn’t we get at least some of the same treatment?

After all our skin takes a bit of a beating, from being shaved with big razors, jumping in and out of hot showers, to splashing on cologne from that big three litre bargain bottle you got in a basket in the pound shop, it’s time to give it just a few seconds of your time.

It’s also the part of our body that gets seen the most, and it’s always a good idea to keep that looking as good as possible, whether it’s for an important job interview or for impressing on a first date.

So with that in mind, we figured we’d give Nivea Men’s sensitive moisturiser (we’re sensitive at heart, really) a whirl, and we noticed the difference. Often, we’ll feel that little bit of tightness or dryness on our skin (especially with the sun out for the first time in 50 years) and a quick application of moisturiser left us feeling as fresh as a daisy.

Not only that, but it wasn’t heavily fragranced, so it didn’t sting when we applied it or make us smell like elderberry for the day. We want to look good, but we want it to be ridiculously easy to do, which is why this bad boy is fairly handy.

It’s the perfect size as well to pop in your kit bag for your shower after training, and you only really need to throw it on once in the day too. It also prevents wrinkles, and while we might not be too worried about that now, we’d rather look like George Clooney than Troy McClure when the years take their toll.

Ah the ravages of age. Anyway, we’re fans of Nivea Men’s moisturiser, and with the sun blasting down we’ve gotten quite a bit of use out of their invisible cooling mist with SPF20 protection too, it can’t be beat in this hot sunny weather.
