Letterkenny is on red alert.
With third-level students having only returned to college in the last few weeks, it’s still a hectic time of the year from a socialising point of view.
Pubs and nightclubs in university towns pull out all the stops in an effort to lure in the customers at this time of year and, in that vein, one such nightclub in Letterkenny is hosting a rather unique event next week.
Next Wednesday, Pulse Nightclub in Letterkenny will play host to ‘Shag a Ginger’ night, at which there’ll be loads of red hair spray, red glow sticks, hundreds of glow sticks and all gingers will get in for free before midnight.

As well as that, Pulse’s hairdressing team will be on hand to dye the hair of anyone who wants to go ginger on the night and there’ll be a free condom giveaway for patrons who take the ‘Shag a Ginger’ line very seriously.
