This is mad.
Jack, the 12-year-old Rescue Golden Retriever, had his annual Christmas bath and brushing, and the result was absolutely crazy.
JOE reader Leonie Broomfield, from Portlaoise in County Laois, got to work on her pet and when she was finished she discovered that Jack was hiding a whole other dog all this time.

Leonie explained the incredible amount of excess hair to JOE:
“The warmer weather has him shedding the winter coat. I’ve a dead arm from brushing him!!”
Asked about what she plans to do with the spare dog, Leonie told JOE:
“My partner’s aunt has just moved house and has been searching high and low for a new dog; I think I’ll stick a bow on this lad and hopefully make her Christmas!”
