Tommy Hilfiger Penny loafers make a come-back
Tommy Hilfiger have released their updated take on the iconic penny loafer for Autumn/Winter 2012.
The characteristically preppy loafer features red hand-stitched detailing and a new signature twist: removable inserts created from laminated swatches of lavish Tommy Hilfiger fabrics.
Tommy Hilfiger stated: “Penny loafers make the ultimate preppy statement. We always have fun putting our signature Tommy Hilfiger twist on classic American styles.”
The loafers are available in brown and black brush-off leather. Each pair comes with an accompanying booklet featuring four inserts crafted from classic Tommy Hilfiger heritage fabrics: pale blue chambray, blue and white Ithaca stripe, white with a fine red and blue stripe, and a navy and red foulard print.
Each fabric matches corresponding men’s shirt designs from the Tommy Hilfiger sportswear collection.
The loafers are currently available from the Tommy Hilfiger store on Grafton Street, Dublin 2 (01 6337600) and on tommy.com
