Irish singer Luan Parle found out the hard way why it’s not advised to run on the synthetic or oiled part of a bowling lane yesterday.
Parle, who won best Irish female singer at the 2007 Meteor Music Awards, was a victim of a slippery surface combined with the momentum of a heavy bowling ball.
We fell on ice before and our arse was sore for about six weeks after, so we can only imagine Parle will be similarly wounded after such a fall.
