VIDEO: JOE heads to LA to visit Hollywood, Route 66 and to meet a talented Irish star

Eoghan Doherty

The trip of a lifetime…

I love films. Just like Brick Tamland loves lamp, I love films.

See? That was a film reference. Scientific proof that I love films.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been a huge film fan and, having been fortunate enough to review films on JOE.ie, radio and TV, the opportunity to travel to sunny California and visit Hollywood, the home of movies, was one that I just couldn’t turn down.

Well, I say “sunny California”, but I did seem to bring the Irish weather with me. Let’s just say the weather in Hollywood was more of the… fierce mild variety.

From the moment I landed at LAX, to visiting the world-famous Hollywood sign and the iconic Route 66 at Santa Monica Pier, this really was a terrific trip to remember.

I also caught up with talented Irish actor, Glenn Keogh (Transformers: Age Of Extinction, Sons Of Anarchy, Once Upon A Time), to have a chat about his own acting career and why he decided to leave Ireland and come to the bright lights of LA to Dream Big.

Check it out Episode 1 of my LA story right here and make sure to keep an eye on JOE.ie for Episode 2 and Episode 3, coming very soon.
