Vodafone’s Comedy Festival line-up this year is hugely impressive

Rory Cashin

The summer of LOLz is upon us.

Knock knock.

Who’s there?

Vodafone.

Vodafone who?

Vodafone Comedy Festival 2019, that’s who!

Yep, the time is almost upon us again, as the long weekend of literally Laughing Out Loud takes place from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 July in the Iveagh Gardens, and the full line-up of funny folk attending will make sure it is a must-attend for those in search of a good time.

Are you ready for the names? Okay, deep breath…

Tommy Tiernan, Dylan Moran, Deirdre O’Kane, David O’Doherty, Foil, Arms & Hog, Alison Spittle, Neil Delamare, Jason Byrne, Aoife Dooley, Enya Martin, Tony Cantwell, The 2 Johnnies, Jim Gaffigan, Michelle Wolf, Des Bishop, Jena Friedman, Josh Wolf, Cameron Esposito, Dan Soder, Liza Treyger, Tone Bell, Langston Kerman, Catherine Cohen, Sindhu Vee, London Hughes, Laura Davis, Loyiso Gola, and Sofie Hagen, to name more than just a few.

They’ll be joined by some famous podcasters, including Blindboy from his hugely popular show, Lindsey and Jenny from the It Galz Podcast, and Deborah Frances-White, host of The Guilty Feminist.

And is if that weren’t enough, they’ll be joined by JOE’s own rib-ticklers Eric Lalor and Justine Stafford, who regularly disrupt the office workflow due to being distractingly funny.

Tickets for the festival go on sale at 9am on Friday 14 June, on a show-by-show basis, with over 20,000 people expected to attend over the four days.
