A Luas tram and a car were involved in a collision at Blackhall place in Dublin at 1.15pm this afternoon.
Emergency services are currently attending the scene of the crash and three people have been taken to hospital for precautionary measures.
Two of the people were on the tram when it crashed, while the other was in the car.
The crash has affected travel, with the Red Line running from Tallaght to Blackhorse only for a time, but full sevice has now been resumed.
This isn't the first such incident involving the Luas - on 16 September 2009 a red line Luas tram and a double-decker bus collided in O'Connell street injuring 21 people.
