British electronic duo Underworld has released a new studio album and will be marking the occasion with a gig in the RDS.

By Robert Carry

Barking is the first album to be released by the British electronic group, made up of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith, in three years. However, critics are already attributing the much sought-after ‘return to form’ tag to the work. The album is available in shops and by download from tomorrow (10 September).

Underworld, in operation for an extraordinary 30 years, will play the RDS on Saturday 27 November as part of its album tour. Tickets are priced at €39.50 (including booking fee) and are available from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide from Friday 10 September.

The debut single from the album, Always Loved a Film, is now available and the video is well worth a look:
